M.A. Mort

Currently a PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering at UC Davis. They received a BS in Applied Physics from the California State University, Sacramento in 2017. Prior to graduate school they worked for an energy consulting company, ADM Associates, Inc., on the decennial commercial end-use survey for the California Energy Commission. Since their start at UC Davis in 2019, they have collaborated with the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) and is currently working on an x-ray imaging device for target diagnostics on the National Ignition Facility (NIF).
